Turn a weekly schedule into working hours per month and per year — before and after paid time off — plus working days in the year and your full-time equivalent (FTE). No clock times needed.
How to calculate hours worked
Subtract the start time from the end time, then subtract any unpaid break. If the finish time is earlier than the start, the shift ran past midnight, so add 24 hours. To get decimal hours for payroll, divide the leftover minutes by 60.

Hours per week, month and year: the formulas
hours per year = hours per week × weeks per year
hours per month = hours per year ÷ 12
hours actually worked = hours per year − (PTO days + holidays) × hours per workday
FTE = your weekly hours ÷ full-time weekly hours
Working days in the year are counted as Monday-to-Friday dates, not adjusted for your country's public holidays (enter those in the holidays field to see the hours impact).
