Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what information TinyTools ("we", "us") collects when you use https://tinytools.live, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

Calculator inputs

Every calculation runs locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Hours, pay rates, salaries, and tax settings are not transmitted to us or to any third party, and are not stored on a server. Some tools put your inputs in the page URL so you can bookmark or share a result; that URL is only created if you choose to copy or share it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-4GTPKLDCL7). With your consent it sets cookies and collects: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (country/region, derived from IP — the full IP address is not stored by us), device and browser type, and interaction events such as "a calculation was completed" or "a result was copied". We use this only in aggregate to decide which calculators to improve or build next. If you do not consent, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that does not identify you or store data on your device.

Advertising

TinyTools plans to display ads served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-8653293678103388). No ad units are shown on the site yet. The AdSense script (adsbygoogle.js) is loaded on every page so that Google can review the site for our advertising application. Because Consent Mode keeps advertising and analytics storage denied by default, it does not set advertising cookies or show personalised ads to you before you accept. When ads are active and you have consented, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads. If you reject advertising cookies, any ads shown are non-personalised or suppressed depending on your region. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Cookies and similar storage

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process your IP address and request metadata in server logs to deliver the site and protect against abuse, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA, the UK, and California) you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold an account or profile for you, the main control available on this site is your cookie consent choice, which you can change at any time. For requests about data held by Google, use Google's own tools. To contact us, see the Contact page.

Children

TinyTools is a general-audience tools site and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We will update this page if our data practices change and will revise the "last updated" date above.
